Montego Bay City Highlights

Your tour begins by seeing the sights of the second city and tourist capital of Jamaica. Your guide may take to a view point that overlooks the famous "hip-strip" and cruise ship port. Martha Brae Rafting

Jamaica's # 1 rafting attraction, was established 40 years ago. Licenced rafters will take on 30-foot-long bamboo rafts over a 3 mile stretch of the beautiful river, approximately 1-hour ride. During the ride visitors may learn about the "Legend of Martha Brae" or enjoy a swim. Before the raft ride, however, visitors may enjoy a stroll through Rafters' Village which offers a picnic ground, bar area, souvenir shops, a swimming pool and restrooms. This is the largest market in Ocho Rios, housing over 100 vendors selling hand painted and hand carved arts and crafts of all nature. carved wooden figures. Hand-woven straw hats, bags and purses, jewelry, t-shirts, Blue Mountain coffee are just a few of the items that can be found in this craft market. Some of these items are incomplete and so visitors can see craftsmen in the middle of their creative process. Visitors are free to walk and around and bargain with craft vendors for the craft item that speaks to you.

Luminous Lagoon

This is the best place to observe and study microorganisms that live and thrive where salt and fresh water combine. These organisms make Luminous Lagoon famous as they glow. At night the lagoon sparkles and glistens when disturbed. Falmouth Jamaica
